Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Your Finance Job website at yourfinancejob.com, the Your Finance Job mobile application for iOS (the "App"), its job board, its connector for AI assistants, and related services ("Services" and "Platform") provided by Sophron® ("Sophron", "we", "us", or "our"). Your Finance Job is a product of Sophron®.

By visiting our website, downloading or using the App, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access our Services.

If you use the App, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to your download and use of it. These Terms are between you and Sophron® only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as far as your use of the App is concerned.

Section 1: Account Terms and Permissible Use

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. The Services are not intended for anyone under 18. You sign in with a Sophron® account; an account is personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred, and each person may hold one account. We reserve the right to refuse the Platform or Service to anyone, particularly in cases where an individual violates these Terms or our code of conduct.

Section 2: Modifications to the Service

We are constantly improving our services. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue parts of the Service, without notice at any time.

Section 3: The Board and Availability of Roles

Your Finance Job lists roles that firms publish on their own careers pages, so that they can be searched in one place. We read those pages about once a day, so a listing may be a day old or older. The firm's own posting is the only authoritative source for a role, including what it requires, whether it is still open, and how and by when to apply. We are not a recruiter or agent for the firms listed, we are not paid by them to list them, and we play no part in their hiring decisions. We strive to describe roles and firms as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that the quality of any Services, information, or other material obtained by you will strictly meet your personal expectations. More information is in our legal notice.

Section 4: Account Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all interactions with our Platform. It is your strict obligation to promptly update your account information, including your email address, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.

Section 5: Third Party Products or Services

We may provide you with access to third-party products or tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control, including AI assistants that you connect to Your Finance Job yourself (such as Claude or ChatGPT). You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools or products "as is" and "as available" without any warranties or endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools or products. Any use by you of such tools or products is entirely at your own risk and is governed by the third party's own terms and policies.

Section 6: Third-Party Links

Roles on the board link to the firm's own website. Third-party links on this site may direct you to external websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of these sites. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, or content made in connection with any third-party websites. Please review the third party's policies carefully before you engage in any transaction.

Section 7: User Comments, Feedback and Other Submissions

If you send us feedback, reports about roles on the board, or creative ideas, suggestions, or proposals (collectively, "Comments"), you grant Sophron a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, edit, copy, publish, and distribute any Comments you forward to us for the purpose of operating and improving Your Finance Job. We are under no obligation to maintain any Comments in confidence or to pay compensation. This license does not cover your CV, your profile, your tracker or your conversations with the assistant: these remain yours and are used only to provide the Services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may remove content that we determine to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, or otherwise objectionable or in violation of any party's intellectual property or these Terms.

Section 9: Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

The content provided on this Platform, including listings of roles and information about firms, is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes careers, financial, investment, or legal advice.

Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to role descriptions and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information if any information in the Service is inaccurate at any time without prior notice.

Section 10: Prohibited Uses & Code of Conduct

In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the site: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform unlawful acts; (c) to infringe upon our intellectual property rights; (d) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, or disability; (e) to submit false or misleading information; (f) to upload viruses or malicious code; (g) to use automated systems (scraping) to extract data, including through a connected assistant; or (h) to resell access to the Services or get around their limits. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your Services in the event of any breach of these prohibited uses.

Section 11: Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Service, including the board and all content, is provided "as is" and "as available" without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind. Sophron does not warrant that the results obtained from the use of the Service, including applications or career decisions based on its content will be accurate, successful, or reliable. To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, Sophron, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunities, or loss of data) arising from your use of the Service. Our liability shall in all cases be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by the intent or gross negligence (opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid) of Sophron's executive management.

Section 12: Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sophron® and our partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Section 13: Severability

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms, and such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

Section 14: Termination

You may terminate your use of the Services at any time, including by using "Delete my Your Finance Job data" on your account page or by deleting your account from within the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you fail to comply with any term or provision of these Terms; where the breach is serious or repeated, we may do so immediately and without prior notice.

Section 15: Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our Services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law prescribes otherwise.

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
